A Pakistani military storage site close to border

This is a Pakistani military’s storage site ~30 km from international border. Construction started in mid 2014 and was finished by late 2016 or early 2017. It’s roughly equidistant from two major Army cantts in Sialkot and Rahwali towards north and south plus Pasrur base towards east.

There’s another nearly identical storage facility nearby which was constructed in the same time period. Both have 10 storage bunkers, 7 watch towers, admin area and approach road among other things.

My guess is that they both are used as storage sites by Army units under XXX Corps. The Corps has pretty large storage facilities inside both cantts already. Rahwali has a special facility to store nuclear weapons. These seem to be for conventional munitions only.

What piqued my interest today is noticing these temporary earthen berms a few meters from the bunker entrances in Oct 2025. That’s not monsoon season when there is a chance of flooding. Additionally, it’s quite some time after Operation Sindoor and these berms will do little to stop any strike anyway.

There is a canal right on northern edge but most berms are on south. So many questions and not enough answers, as usual.
