Fateh Jung airfield old

Old Pakistani airfield near nuclear installations being upgraded

This Fateh Jung airfield was lying unused for years before construction started late last year. It is interesting because of 3 nearby facilities directly involved in production and storage of Pakistani nuclear warheads and missiles. All within <1 hour drive.

A large dual-use airport is 14 km east and sees very little civilian traffic. So this one is very likely meant for military use, like 3 others within 40 km radius. IMF loans are being put to good use. Very nice. P.S.: 90 km from border with India.
