Base of old artillery regiment of Chinese 8th Infantry Division

HQ of former 162nd Artillery Regiment, 8th Motorised Infantry Division of Xinjiang Military Region. Now merged with some other units to form new 8th Firepower Regiment under 8th Combined Arms Division in Shawan County, Tacheng Region, Xinjiang. The base right next to it belonged to one of three infantry regiments under the same division. It is now a Heavy Combined Arms Regiment.
