margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;\" src=\"http:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/_Dc2Wx4jR9F8\/RrwGVXVAw8I\/AAAAAAAAAF4\/EL2xMLw1Qhk\/s320\/3-days-of-darkness-three-days-of-darkness.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" id=\"BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5096955842385724354\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">Darkness, she called out to him. <br \/>\u201cJoin my ranks\u201d she said.<br \/>\u201cI am the only one who dares <br \/>to live among the whispering dead. <br \/>Charlatans shall hint ever so often <br \/>at that so-called light.<br \/>They\u2019ll take you round and round in circles, <br \/>My pretty child,  Do hold on tight.<br \/>They shall induce a fear of me <br \/>in your heart unsuspecting.<br \/>And you shall fear and loathe me more <br \/>for time and times unending.\u201d<br \/>He asked her still, \u201cBut why, my lady.<br \/>Why do they hate you so?\u201d<br \/>She told him, \u201cChild, don\u2019t you realize,<br \/> I am their most formidable foe.<br \/>I\u2019m always there, Shall always be,<br \/>No matter where their sight does reach.<br \/>Insecure they feel, of my rule,<br \/>Against me they shall always preach.\u201d<br \/>He walked aside her for a few more steps,<br \/>She intrigued his wildest thoughts.  <br \/>\u201cYou amaze me, Darkness, yes you do,<br \/>It was you whom I always sought.\u201d<br \/>She laughed her intoxicating laugh.<br \/>He was drawn to her yet more strongly,<br \/>\u201cNo, my child, you it\u2019s light you seek,<br \/>You interpreted a tad too wrongly.\u201d<br \/>She stood up and started to walk,<br \/>He begged for her to stay.<br \/>And yet, she laughed again and said,<br \/>\u201cI&#8217;m sorry but I have to go away.\u201d<br \/>Tears, they welled in his eyes,<br \/>\u201cDarkness, you are my sole companion.\u201d  <br \/>She smiled, She beamed. \u201cIf it is so,<br \/>Nothing shall impede our re-union.\u201d<br \/>Just then, a gleam, it pierced her heart,<br \/>She was gone in a whiff of light.<br \/>For a moment he stood their blinded, sad,<br \/>And then illumination hit his sight.<br \/>He saw the rainbows, and the streams,<br \/>He saw the mountains looming,<br \/>He stared, awe-struck, at all the marvels,<br \/>At wonders he was swooning.<br \/>Darkness, she stood at a distance, afar,<br \/>She watched him amused and smirked,<br \/>She watched him as he unraveled unknowns,<br \/>As her love from his heart he shirked.<br \/>\u201cAnother fell prey to the trap\u201d, she thought,<br \/>\u201cBut he, I felt , he would defy.<br \/>Seeking the illusion they call light, <br \/>prematurely he wouldn\u2019t die\u201d.<br \/>She sighed and thought, what could she do,<br \/>He\u2019d brought it upon on himself,<br \/>\u201cI did warn him, he chose not to heed,<br \/>I shall not torment myself\u201d<br \/>She wandered aimlessly on the meadows,<br \/>She adorned the rivers so gracefully,<br \/>While in the interim, her past admirer,<br \/>He missed her, longed for her ruefully.<br \/>Now he realized who he was,<br \/>darkness for him was life,<br \/>he yearned for her and her alone,<br \/>He was engulfed in strife.  <br \/>The colorful sights, didn\u2019t allure him now,<br \/>Nor did the pristine light,<br \/>He wanted her to come back to him,<br \/>Without her, he had no might. <br \/>She was so vital for his existence,<br \/>He could shine only with her around.<br \/>He called out to her, He pleaded for her,<br \/>His voice did just resound.<br \/>\u201cWith you I&#8217;m perceptible, darkness,<br \/>I do need you to live.<br \/>Without you I have no identity,<br \/>Legitimacy to me you give.\u201d<br \/>He looked into every crevasse and cliff,<br \/>\u201cShe must be somewhere, I\u2019m certain\u201d.<br \/>And yet it was light, just light it was.<br \/>No darkness had it curtained.<br \/>The faithful friend she was, darkness,<br \/>She came for him at last.<br \/>\u201cI love you, Darkness, I really do,<br \/>Without you I\u2019m left aghast \u201d.<br \/>It was when you were gone, when I did see,<br \/>How imperative you were for my being.<br \/>You shall leave me again, for it is the law,<br \/>Yet your return I shall be seeing.&#8221;<br \/>Darkness embraced him, he shone again,<br \/>Till time did shift more sand.<br \/>&#8220;My name is Lucifer, My lovely lady,<br \/>Taint me and take my hand.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Written by a friend..Shambhavi. <br \/>A master piece. :)<br \/>He he<\/p>\n<p>Don&#8217;t you copy it without permission.
